Our ZILHive Student Practicum is a free, virtual 5-week programme designed to nurture tertiary students in their career, giving them the opportunity to develop real-world solutions for Zilliqa.

Unravel the latest challenges of DeFi in Zilliqa with their experts and develop innovative solutions for Zilliqa to adopt.
02 GameFi
Dreaming up your own version of a play-to-earn game? This track focusses on GameFi, the intersection of gaming and economic incentives.
03 Infrastructure
Develop innovative tools for the very foundation of DApps – from the first touchpoint to ongoing interactions.
04 Generalist
The world is your oyster. The industry is a deep and diverse space and we recognise that good ideas come from anywhere. In this track, explore any real-world use case!
01 DeFi
Unravel the latest challenges of DeFi in Zilliqa with their experts and develop innovative solutions for Zilliqa to adopt.
02 Gaming & Metaverse
Dream up your version of P2E NFTs to integrate into Metapolis, Zilliqa’s Metaverse-as-a-Service (MaaS), a place for clients to build their own metaverses.
03 Cross-Chain Interoperability
Brainstorm new use-cases of ZilBridge, Zilliqa’s cross-chain interoperability bridge. Develop your own dApp to support Zilliqa’s digitalisation.

Nope! The student practicum is completely free of charge
You will be able to indicate your preference for a practicum track on the application form. Your preference will be taken into consideration, however, you will be places in tracks depending on overall demand
All students sign up as individuals. Shortlisted individuals will be offered a place in the student practicum. You will be placed in teams based on your indicated track preference.
Students with experience in JavaScript will benefit the most out of the ZILHive student practicum and excel in the programme.
